What I learned from Cat's Dad.
Yesterday during a client session with an amazing girl who had just lost her dad, she asked if I check in and get a message from him.
I pulled out my cards and this is what we learned.
With spirits help her Dad gave us the message of just being blown away by the greater perspective and the great amount of knowledge that he now had access to.
He said, I thought I knew a lot but now I see I didn't know anything!
He then laughingly said, "I thought I was in control of so much but I wasn't controlling anything, the thoughts were.
The thoughts were moving me through life!"
I could then see the energy of thoughts carrying us from place to place and us thinking we were making choices and decisions but really the thought was controlling every turn.
We are like puppets to our thoughts. Every thought we connect to comes with a set of strings called choices and behaviors that will be carried out.
This is why it is so important to harness the ability to control what thoughts we think and entertain as they flow through our mental space.
If the thoughts carry us from place to place we have to be very careful which ones we allow to put strings on us. This appears to be our only point of true control in the decision making process of how life unfolds and where it takes us. Once a thought is attached we are just along for the ride.
