Having different rooms allows you to see where your mind tends to create the most mess which leads to emotional pain. The rooms also help you identify cycles, patterns, and habits of your mind. The more you know the tendencies of your mind, the more power you have to clear these unhealthy tendencies.
Understanding your mind is how you TIDY IT UP!
The Junk Drawer. Learn to express and sort thoughts. Use a journal. If writing isn't your thing, you can also use a voice recorder. Express out loud what is going on inside your mind. What is the voice saying to you. What is it talking about. What is it afraid of?
The Shaky Floor. Assess your feelings. We are talking about the energy of emotions. You don't have to be able to label the emotion or know WHAT you are feeling. Its enough to just acknowledge that you are feeling something that doesn't feel good.
The Closets. Unpack and Release your stored emotions. We will be learning to unpack and release stored emotions from your body. The more clear you become, the less pain you feel. The less emotional pain you feel, the more space and opportunities you have to experience joy.
